From dagwood dogs to blow up hammers, our students had a real treat today thanks to our amazing P&C and volunteers.
A huge effort went into the collation of over 200 sample bags, the cooking of dagwood dogs and hotdogs as well as the production of our very own variety of the strawberry cupcake.
Fresh strawberries were cooked into the cake mix, specially prepared in an ice-cream cone then topped with delicious strawberry icing and a strawberry lolly.
The merry team of volunteers powered on to ensure that over 200 students were treated to the SCSS Ekka Day.
Congratulations to the team who made this happen and thanks to our parents who supported the event.
A special thanks also from the staff at SCSS who were treated this afternoon at the staff meeting to their very own strawberry cupcakes!
