Author visit Cameron Stelzer

On Monday 8th May, author Cameron Stelzer came to visit our Year 3 and 5 students. As part of his visit, he met with the XLR8 Reading students from Year 3 for an informal chat. Read here to see what some of the students thought.
On Monday afternoon we got to speak with Cameron Stelzer one on one. He writes Pie Rats, Stroogle and How to Draw books. He also made t-shirts and jumpers. He’s made lots of books and clothing. Cameron Stelzer is a doctor, but he is a different doctor’s and he’s one of them, but I forget what it was.
He told us about the Pie Rat books that he is working on. He also told us about the one that he just finished making. It looks kind of mysterious. He made me feel inspired when I read the first chapter of The Forgotten Map. I really wish I had every book because they’re so interesting. He made me feel inspired because he used really good adjectives, verbs and nouns.

On Monday afternoon the XLR8 reading people had a private meeting with the author of Pie Rats and Stroogle, Dr Cameron Stelzer. He started writing books in Year 4! We were so lucky to meet Dr Cameron Stelzer. We were really lucky to get sneak peeks and clues and such good information.
